High Reliability Telemetry Tracking Above the Arctic Circle.

Orbital Systems, Ltd. installed a three-meter, S Band antenna system for telemetry tracking at the Tromsø Norway ground station of Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT).  Tromsø is in far northern Norway inside the Arctic Circle.  This antenna is scheduled for more than 40 satellite tracking passes per day.

The installation conditions were harsh – freezing rain and snow each day in with no sun.
